We are a group of people dedicated to studying the Yang Style T'ai Chi Ch'üan (taijiquan), as taught by Master Ding
In January 1998, Master Ding became the Sixth Generation of the Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan after being formally accepted as the First Disciple of Master Ip Tai Tak who was the First Disciple of the late Grandmaster Yang Sau Chung, Fourth generation Head of the Yang family and the world's foremost authority on his family's Tai Chi Chuan.
Master Ding is also one of but a few Tai Chi Chuan Masters in the world to have studied under all three direct disciples of the late Grandmaster Yang Sau Chung before being a disciple of Master Ip Tai Tak.
Our tutor Mike Watson has been authorised by the John Ding International Academy of T'ai Chi Ch'üan to teach this style of T'ai Chi and runs a number of classes in Stockton-on-Tees and Hartlepool.
The aims of this site is not only to promote our group, and the John Ding International Accademy of T'ai Chi Ch'üan but to also promote Tai Chi itself and the people who teach and practice this wonderful art.
